LIGHTHOUSE AT WACONIA TO EXPAND MEMORY CARE COMMUNITY
WACONIA, MN—The Lighthouse at Waconia announced today an expansion of their memory care community—home to adults living with Alzheimer’s and memory related dementias. An additional 10 apartments will be added bringing the total memory care units to 81. The addition allows Lighthouse of Waconia to meet demand and provide their award-winning care to more people.
“The response to our individual approach to caring for adults challenged with memory related diseases has been overwhelming. We are proud that we will be able to meet the physical and emotional needs of more seniors with early to late stage Alzheimer’s and other memory-related dementias while providing critical support to their families,” said Todd Novaczyk, President of New Perspective Senior Living, the parent company of Lighthouse At Waconia.
New Perspective Senior Living developed their unique approach to memory-related caregiving the past 20 years. It has become the model of care throughout the New Perspective family of communities, including Lighthouse at Waconia. This award-winning approach centers on delivering compassionate care that focuses on the residents’ abilities not limitations to create for them a secure, enriched and fulfilling life.
